Tips on Tax Credits

Links on Energy and Tax Credits (General)

We've been doing a lot of research lately, and thought you might like to have a handy place to do some of your own. Here are some general links where you can find out yourself some pretty valuable stuff on the happenings with energy and tax credits.

www.Recovery.gov: This is a Whitehouse web site that tracks where the stimulus package money is being spent.

www.propublica.org/ion/stimulus: Find a list of stimulus spending from an independent, nonprofit news organization. You can track by your state. Right now, according to this site, Michigan has been approved for $481,403,043.

www.energytaxincentives.org: This site is sponsored by a bunch of experts in the energy efficiency field - a coalition of public interest nonprofit groups, government agencies, and other organizations. Consumers and businesses can find information about federal income tax incentives for energy efficient products and technologies passed by Congress as part of the Energy Policy Act of 2005 and its subsequent amendments.
