The Leonard at Logan House on Heritage Hill Tour
In October, 2000 people toured Team's most famous remodeling project - a historic mansion once owned by a member of the notable Leonard family. Harry C. Leonard was the son of Charles H. Leonard, the inventor of the Leonard Cleanable refrigerator, designed after he discovered a pan of lard was spilled in the refrigerator at home. He cleaned the mess himself so he could see what improvements needed to be made to the refrigerator interior - to make it easier to clean. Harry was an executive in several manufacturing businesses (including his father's and grandfather's companies) and a city councilman for many years. Team remodeled this 1914 to bring it back to its elegant, yet down-to-earth roots. It is now an internationally beloved bed and breakfast.
